I documenti presentati in questa seconda parte riguardano in particolare l’atteggiamento della S. Sede e di
alcuni dei suoi principali attori e rappresentanti, insieme ad altre figure, rispetto al progetto e alla realizzazione del
Comitato irlandese di soccorso ai profughi per le leggi razziste e il comportamento della burocrazia vaticana nei confronti
di coloro che inviarono telegrammi di condoglianze per la morte di Pio XI e di felicitazioni per l’elezione di Pio XII nel
1939.

The documents presented in this second part concern in particular the attitude of the Holy See and some of
its main actors and representatives, together with other personalities, with regard to the project and implementation of the
Irish Committee for Relief to Refugees from Racist Laws and the behaviour of the Vatican bureaucracy towards those
who sent telegrams of condolence for the death of Pius XI and congratulations for the election of Pius XII in 1939.
